10 Hard Rock Musicians With The Most Endearing Hobbies
8. Clothing Line - Travis Barker
Most of the big time rock stars tend to see their line of work as not just about music. Despite getting popular off of a few hit songs, it takes the elite few to turn their music into not only a band but a brand at the exact same time. And if you try to cater to the pop punk crowd, you can't really do much better than a clothing line.
When Blink 182 was first starting to get some real money, Travis Barker already had in mind the idea for Famous Stars and Straps, which remains his second passion aside from being a maniac behind the drums. It's not like this is just some vanity project either. These are legit threads that have sold insanely well for the Hot Topic centric crowd, ranging from everything from stickers for your skateboard to graphic tees to even selling facemasks in the wake of the pandemic.
It seems that the bug for the clothing line rubbed off on some of his Blink bandmates as well, with Mark Hoppus quickly founding Atticus and Tom DeLonge coming out with the MacBeth brand as well. Even though Mark and Tom may have written the songs back in Blink's heyday, Travis is the real businessman who was always looking at the bigger picture.
