10 Hard Rock Musicians With The Most Endearing Hobbies

9. Pilot - Bruce Dickinson

When you have more money than you know what to do with, you're going to want to splurge on some pretty weird things. While some may try to indulge in as many drugs as possible, some people like to spend their dough on stuff that's a lot more kinky than others. For Bruce Dickinson though, the biggest rush that he gets outside of Iron Maiden takes place eight miles above the ground.

Outside of his other hobby of being a fencing champion, The Human Air Raid Siren has turned in most of his non-singing endeavors learning how to fly commercial jets, which he still does in his spare time when he has time off in between record releases. As it turns out though, he can practically make an entire new career out of his skills behind the navigation system.

During most of the tours for Iron Maiden, Bruce is the one who occasionally takes the wheel behind their jet Ed Force One, which also begs the question of when the hell he actually finds the time to sleep. When you have something that you're this passionate about though, you sometimes don't need to worry about the sleep deprivation. Just put a little coffee in you and get this jet off the ground.
