Robert Plant is clearly a different man than the one that we got to know in the '70s at the height of Led Zeppelin's peak. In the man's own words, he's still just a mellow hippy, but the power behind his vocals have become a lot more mellow than something like Immigrant Song from back in the day. Hell, even the pre show warm ups that he does these days tend to be a bit on the mellow side.

For any show, singers might like to run some scales or do different vocal lines to test the boundaries of what their voice can handle that night. Not so much with Mr. Plant. Just before he takes to the stage these days, Plant is now known to iron right before he goes onstage, with most of the shirts that he works on being what he puts on that night.

If you have to ask him why though, Plant has credited ironing with calming him down, using it as a way to work out the pre show jitters before he eventually goes onstage. While it's crazy to think that someone like Robert Plant would still get stage fright at this point in his career, you can never say that he doesn't look his best whenever it's showtime.
