If you couldn't tell from the title, Moonblood are a German band specialising in the black metal sub-genre. Formed in 1993, they seem to have stopped making music in 2015, but again, it's worth reiterating how little info there is out there on these lot.
What we do know is that they produced an album called Taste Our German Steel! in the year 2000. Described as "one of the rarest black metal releases ever created", the album scores top marks for scarcity because only 100 copies were ever made.
As you imagine, this absolutely skyrocketed the price. A numbered album from the French release of this album is worth an average of $721.34, with other listings reaching well into four figures.
The limited stock and niche nature of this record creates the perfect storm for making a proper collectors item. Although, if you do end up acquiring one, maybe move it towards the back of your collection - that title could be misinterpreted out of context.
