8. Stankonia - Outkast
The Album: Though The Speakerboxx/The Love Below had far more commercial success (mostly propelled by the single "Hey Ya"), Andre 3000 and Big Boi have never sounded better than this. A perfect mix of slick cool beats and lyrical fire Stankonia draws from multiple different genres mainly funk, rock and simple bass and drum.
The pairing of Andre and Big Boi was also one of the greatest duos in hip-hop history (imagine if Jay-Z and Kanye had made 5 albums instead of one, and if they were both in their prime instead of Kanye carrying Jay-Z's old ass), and this is their finest moment.
