10 Hip Hop Songs With Surprising Samples

1. Action Bronson's "Contemporary Man" Samples Nearly Every Great '80s Song Ever

As you've seen with the previous posts, songs and samples are usually posted below for you to listen too. However, for this last section it's a bit difficult to do as rapper Action Bronson has taken six songs from the '80s and spits a quick verse over each one. And these aren't just any songs, these are certified hits that the New York native decides to jump on. Here's a list of them for you: Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer Phil Collins - Another Day In Paradise John Mellencamp - Jack And Diane Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam And Full Force - I Wonder if I Take You Home Phil Collins - Sussudio Huey Lewis And The News - Simple As That Crazy right? Now you might be thinking to yourself, "Well, I don't care how good of a rapper he is or how fantastic his beard looks, there's no way this could sound good. He's probably butchering great songs." That's a totally understandable conclusion to come to but the way Bronson and the producer Party Supplies have taken little snippets of each song and moulded them into one is pretty damn awesome and Bronson is a lyrical beast.
