10 Most Horrifically Overplayed Songs In Music History

1. YMCA - The Village People

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS9OO0S5w2k Anyone that has found themselves at a high school graduation or a wedding reception will loathe the without-a-doubt inclusion of YMCA on the playlist. The dicky dance moves that get worse (or better) after a couple of drinks are compounded by the fear that the night is coming to the end (its always put at the tail end of the playlist). Released by the Village People, the song was number one around the world but failed to crack the top spot in the US thanks to Rod Stewart. Although it has become somewhat of a cult recording and is often popular at parties, private functions and especially sporting events. It is definitely a love to hate song. It's more than guaranteed fact that your parents and grand parents will be loving life and busting a 'move' when it is playing, to put you off completely. But there is always a special place in everyone's heart for this little number. Clear some space and refresh your memory of the song and the choreography below!
