If Glastonbury is looking to be edgy and cause a stir then they can go no further than the controversial metal and rock superstar Marilyn Manson. However, it seems Manson would want to be as far away from Worth Farm as possibly. The 46-year-old legendary rocker has swore that he will never step foot on to the famous field because he would "never do that or anything mainstream for the sake of it". There are few rock stars of recent times who can claim to have caused as much of a stir as Manson has, with the reports linking his music to school shootings and his one of a kind image creating some kind of mythical feeling towards the Antichrist Superstar creator. Manson was recently awarded with Kerrang!'s Lifetime Achievement award and his set at Download Festival 2015 drew in a great crowd who were eager to tick off witnessing the Personal Jesus performer from their bucket list. As such, adding his name onto future line-ups would prove to be a massive coup for Glasto. But, having Metallica as headliners is one step for metalkind, let's not get ahead of ourselves with this one. We don't want to be upsetting the children now, do we?
