10 Huge Rock & Metal Bands Glastonbury Couldn't Handle

8. Rammstein

When Coldplay headlined Glastonbury for the third time back in 2011 much was made about their impressive firework and laser show and how they lit up stage. So, why not go that extra step further and bring in a band who have been labelled with the motto "Other bands play, Rammstein burns!". No? Okay. It may sound ludicrous to the resident Glastonbury-goer but sticking the German industrial metal band in with the likes of Paulo Nutini, Mumford and Sons and The Maccabee's would be the biggest controversy in music since rock god Ozzy Osbounre infamously bit the head of a bat on stage. Possibly. Despite playing to almost one million music fans at Rock on the Volga, Europe's biggest rock festival in 2013, it's almost inevitable that the band won't be sharing their incredible on and off stage antics with the UK's biggest music gathering. That mean's we won't be seeing the explicit live performance of Bück dich, which once saw two members of Rammstein arrested during a concert in America, 1998. Till Lindermann and Christian "Flake" Lorenz spent a night in jail and were fined $200. Kanye West is enough controversy for this year's festival, thank you very much.
