Each June around 80,000 to 100,000 adoring fans make the pilgrimage to the sacred ground that is Donington Racetrack. Since Monsters of Rock 1980, this place has been known as the holy land for rock and roll in the UK. Download Festival has been on the go here since 2003 and has established itself as the largest rock festival in the country.
Playing host to near enough every big rock band still touring at one point or another, Andy Copping’s monster of an event dominates the UK festival circuit year in and out.
