10 Incredible Frontmen Who Don’t Get The Credit They Deserve

7. Fyfe Dangerfield

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1zOT0h9XKY As a talented composer, songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, the Guillemots frontman has received accolades from a variety of sources including a Mercury Music Prize nomination and some favourable album chart positions. Therefore, his inclusion on a list of the under-appreciated might seem unusual, but hear us out. Fyfe Dangerfield is a remarkable musician with enthusiasm and effortless creativity. His sense of melody is enviable whilst his reluctance to be pigeonholed can only be admired. Despite his accolades though, his name has not become as universally celebrated as you might expect from someone who has achieved success as everything from a top notch pop/rock writer and performer to a composer of choral music for highly respected classical institutions - and even a school music teacher. Dangerfield's performance style is bouncy and energised so it's not difficult to see that he enjoys what he does, with a love of music coming across naturally, guaranteed to leave the audience with a smile on their faces. Taking a musical journey with this highly underrated and inspirational melting pot of ideas comes highly recommended. He€™s an exciting performer, musical magician and creative powerhouse who deserves to be recognised. RECOMMENDED LISTENING: €˜Through The Window Pain€™ (Guillemots)
