Vocalist Luke Dawkins has a voice akin to Alex Turner, but alongside his sound is the Northern charm the band carries. It could easily be argued that he rivals giants in the genre, and that could translate into well-deserved success for the group.

Leopard Rays aren't shy about showing their alternative rock influences too, as demonstrated in the epic track "I'm Japan", with the intro riff being incredibly infectious, and somewhat ironically reminiscent of The Vapors.

"Moon" is definitely a standout tune, the perfect track to highlight their penchant for high-octane performances. They are definitely worth the effort to catch at a gig in the future.
