However, it's the hard guitars and British accent that cements them as indie darlings that deserve more attention than they get.
"Here's the Thing" really flexes their ingenuity and distaste for society, with hard-hitting jabs at societal class wars elevated by the sarcastic tinge and energy of frontman Alex Rice.
They also subscribe the adage of throwing insults at their indie colleagues, whether they be in jest or serious is left as a mystery, however, it's a very Gallagher thing to do.
Harnessing the aggressive struts seen in Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out", Sports Team really back up their evident angst with British cynicism with their tongues so far in their cheek they're eating next door's dinner.
