10 Key Elements To The Paul McCartney Is Dead Theory

3. Cranberry Sauce!

We all know that John Lennon likes a laugh so much so that he decided to mess with Beatles fans that little bit more when referencing Paul McCartney's supposed death in the classic, "Strawberry Fields Forever."

The track really showcases Lennon's strong abilities as a songwriter. During the song, Lennon takes listeners on a journey through his childhood and teenage years, and in some parts, it actually gets rather emotional. It's a deep song with deep meaning and a glimpse into Lennon's often upsetting past. Then, in typical Lennon fashion, the song ends with Lennon speaking the words, "Cranberry sauce" bringing back the classic nonsensical element to his music.

But did he really say "Cranberry sauce"? Apparently not.

According to avid listeners, Lennon actually dropped one of the biggest "Paul is dead" clues of all time with many suggesting that he said "I buried Paul" instead.
