Their career has been built on a kind of bored melancholia and their band name literally has the word death in it. Yet it's bold, even for them, to open a song with the line "Love of mine, some day you will die". Cheers guys! But, sure, OK, we're all going to die. That's just a fact. However, when the song then tells us that if we are alone when we die, the singer will follow us into the dark? Implying that he'll kill himself to join us in the afterlife? That's a lot of pressure to put on the relationship. Have a think about what you're offering, bud.
