10 Most Embarrassing Onstage Moments In Rock
5. Corey Taylor Falls Onstage
It doesn't take a genius to know how dangerous a Slipknot show could feel at the best of times. Despite the massive amount of people willing to hop up onstage or crowd surf, the amount of mayhem unleashed by any of these masked maniacs could get you in the hospital if you're not careful. However, even a group as scary as Slipknot isn't immune to the dumb klutz moment every now and again.
Just when the lights started to come up midway through the set, Corey Taylor went to the front of the stage to address the crowd for the first time. Everything seemed to be going smoothly as he formally asked the audience to sing along with them, only to come tumbling down and getting laughed at by Clown as he got his composure back. Ever the good sport about it, Taylor completely owned up to his tumble before telling everyone to shut up as they went into the next song.
This is actually one of the more important ones considering how scary of a band like Slipknot can feel like at times. No matter what kind of mystique they might have in the public eye, these guys are still just regular people trying their best to make the greatest show. It might fall out of place at times, but sometimes that's just the way it goes.
