10 Most Expensive Rock Music Videos Of All Time

6. The Ghost Of You - My Chemical Romance ($1,000,000)

Breaking the million dollar mark for the first time on this list are everybody's favourite knights in black mascara, My Chemical Romance.

The Lords of Emo produced some spectacular videos when they were in their prime; Welcome to the Black Parade; Helena; I'm Not Okay (I Promise); Famous Last Words. The list goes on and on.

Their most expensive film commitment was for a song from their second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The Ghost of You did rather well in various rock charts and also secured itself a blockbuster companion video.

The short film starts with the MCR boys playing to a World War II-style dance hall full of soldiers and their gals. This continues throughout, but is interspersed with shots of the soldiers participating in the D-Day landings.

Clearly inspired by Saving Private Ryan, the video is shot beautifully and features some stellar acting from the band members. The sheer size and scale of it all is so impressive that's amazing that it only took $1,000,000 to make!

The Ghost of You is a great song, but its video is just next level.
