9. Eagles
The Eagles have been known for the sunshine they have brought to many people's lives through their music. Whenever you throw on one of the band's greatest hits, it almost instantly evokes images of driving down a dusty highway, preparing for the ultimate adventure. While the harmony may be there in the songs, the actual personalities behind the band have painted them in a negative light.
As it turns out, the band's more harmonious moments were being brought to fruition through some of the worst bad blood a band had ever seen. With Glenn Frey and Don Henley steering the ship, some band members were dictated what to play and were even tricked into giving their songs away, like when Don Felder was taken out to dinner so Henley could record the vocal for "Victim of Love" behind his back.
That doesn't mean that the other band members were necessarily golden, with the dissolution of the band resulting from a dust-up between Frey and Felder, where they nearly came to blows onstage over a snide comment Felder made about the band's charity gig. The songs may still live on classic rock radio, but some of the more questionable actions of the band members have soured some fans on their sonic sunshine.
