10 Most Hated Hard Rock Songs (From Great Bands)
1. All Of Lulu - Metallica And Lou Reed
Fans were a bit confused when Metallica announced that their next project would be a collaborative album with Lou Reed. After jamming with him at the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts, the band were inspired by his wordplay and reveled at the prospect of putting Reed's poetry with their metal edge. This might not be what fans expected, but what's the worst that could happen?
The answer: A LOT. There are probably some songs on Lulu that stand out more than others as awful, but they all blend into one ball of boredom. While fans may have been confused by the new direction, it still seemed like it could have worked, but these songs feel like they should be found on two separate albums. Instead of creating a unique blend of Lou Reed's art rock and Metallica's power, the two styles kind of awkwardly rub against each other, which makes for one of the most ear-grating things that Metallica have been involved with (including St. Anger.)
Though Metallica have stood by it over the years, this album is still far from being one of their beloved classics. These songs may have some decent riffs, but by Metallica standards, you can find better literally ANYWHERE else.
