6. Travis Barker Replaces Scott Raynor - Blink-182
Before he inexplicably married a Kardashian, Travis Barker was the drummer for the man-children-in-chief Blink-182.
He joined up with Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge in 1998, first appearing on the beloved album Enema of the State. Over the years, he's contributed to such Blink hits as What's My Age Again?, All The Small Things, I Miss You, and Adam's Song.
He was brought in because original drummer Scott Raynor was developing alcohol problems in the late 1990s. Spare a though for poor Scott though, as he'd joined the band when he was just 14, meaning he was only 20 when these problems came around.
Everyone would struggle with that sort of fame at such a young age.
Unfortunately though, Raynor had to go, and Barker was drafted in. The first time the trio ever played together, the drummer learned an entire 20-song setlist in just 45 minutes.
Since gaining increased attention as part of Blink, Barker has drummed for numerous other bands, become a highly sought-after producer, worked as a model and designer, and, we cannot stress this enough, somehow married Kourtney Kardashian.
Can somebody please explain again how that happened? Slowly.
