4. Axl Rose - Guns N Roses
Most of the biggest rock stars in the world have been known for going a little bit off the rails in some spots. Although some manage to make it to the other side of life relatively unscathed, you can end up making a lot of dangerous decisions when you’re drunk with power, which could mean serious injury or death later down the line. If all you are is drunk with power though, you become a safety for almost everyone around you.
Even though Guns N Roses started off like a band of brothers back in the day, what Axl Rose has been doing since Use Your Illusion has made both fans and band members leave in droves. Once the money started rolling in, Axl’s ego got way too inflated to be contained in one band, making the rest of his bandmates sign over the name of the band to him and being in charge of every aspect of the show.
Those would make sense if the person in question has good instincts, but Axl has only really looked out for himself most of the time, either making his fans wait for hours at a time to get the show going or not even bothering to show up at all during some of the dates on their stadium tour in the ‘90s. It’s no wonder why almost all of the original band members quit in protest after the tour wrapped up, leaving the public to wait for over a decade to hear what Axl had stirred up on Chinese Democracy. Axl has learned to use his presence as an anticipation tool, but if you have to make us wait for this long, people are going to stop caring pretty quickly.
