6. Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
I was working in a factory in Oxford, MI when this CD came out. I remember the guy on the CNC machine next to me coming to work one night. He had this CD in his hand. He popped it in my CD player that I kept on my work bench. He and I were the only ones in the back part of the shop. We were the lone machinists on third shift. What hit my ears that night was the most amazing sound that I had ever heard. I remember that our nightly goal was 100 pieces each. That night, we made 150. The absolute, pure ferocity of Dimebags guitar, Phils vocals, and the rhythm section of Vinnie and Rex make this CD one of a kind. It changed the game for heavy music.
