10 Most Successful Rock Music Star Siblings

7. The Fogertys (John And Tom)

The members of Creedance Clearwater Revivial first started playing together in 1959, but were only together as a recording act for four years.

Not that that stopped them; in those four years, they released seven albums, including three in 1969! This insane work ethic birthed some absolute classics. Run Through the Jungle, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Bad Moon Rising, and Fortunate Son.

Half of the original four-piece line-up of CCR were related. John Fogerty and his older brother Tom dealt with the guitars, playing lead and rhythm respectively.

Their talent, as well as John's instantly-recognisable voice, helped propel the band to worldwide acclaim. Unfortunately, it was Tom who brought about the demise of the band, when he left in 1971 after he'd had enough of John's controlling nature.

After the split, both men would continue to work to varying degrees of success. Tom sadly passed away in 1990, after he was given HIV positive blood during a transfusion. A sad end, but thankfully he left behind plenty of material for people to remember him by.
