10 Most Underrated AC/DC Songs
9. Jailbreak - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
When AC/DC first wrote Jailbreak, it was poised to be one of their first big crossovers into the mainstream. With a snarl-along chorus and one of the first music videos they had ever made, this had the makings of a hit pretty much stamped on it already. However, the most underrated AC/DC songs are the ones that you never got to hear.
Yeah, instead of the usual release schedule we're used to, things worked out a little differently for this great cut off of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. While the regular addition kept the song on the track listing, other outlets felt that the song was too dangerous for rock fans to digest, leaving the band to remove it from the track listing if they were to sell any more copies. Even though the track was pretty dormant for a few years, their live EP told a different story upon its release.
All of a sudden, a good chunk of hard rock fans had finally gotten ahold of a new AC/DC classic that they hadn't heard, which kicked ass. Being from the Bon Scott period, there's a certain amount of muscle behind this track, as Scott acts as the grand mastermind planning the takeover of the prison system. Despite all of the red tape it had to go through, Jailbreak is one of the prized AC/DC cuts that never really got its just due.
