10 Most Underrated Artists Of The Past Decade

8. Charlotte Gainsbourg

Charlotte Gainsbourg was born to have talent. As a daughter of the French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg and English actress Jane Birkin, her genetics almost guaranteed success, and her sultry vocals proved perfect for her to carve a path in music. Despite this, the electro-pop singer has found greater success in her acting career which has overshadowed her musical contributions somewhat. This would be detrimental as she is one of the most talented female singers to emerge in the last decade. Her delicate and ethereal voice can be heard throughout her tremendous debut album 5.55 and the Beck produced IRM, the latter demonstrating her love for experimenting with different genres particularly on the bruising stop-start affair "Trick Pony". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61mqeqc2EdU With someone this talented it would be a shame not to see her gain worldwide recognition for her music.
