7. Wearing Scars - A Thousand Words
Released in 2014, ‘A Thousand Words’ was the debut release from British metal outfit, Wearing Scars. This album attracted solid attention at the time, with the band’s self-titled single earning over half a million Spotify streams. 'A Thousand Words' included a catalogue of amazing tunes ranging in aggression, pace and mood, giving it an excellent professional vibe.
The attention gained from the release of this record also earned Wearing Scars a small tent stage spot at Download Festival in 2015. However, Wearing Scars have not released any fresh material since this great record and haven’t even posted on social media since 2017. Despite their potential, Wearing Scars seem to be another promising band that never quite made it.
