Whether it's with his solo projects or The Gaslight Anthem, Brian Fallon has proven time and again that he is a true gem of this generation.

The Gaslight Anthem burst onto the music scene with their sophomore album, The 59 Sound in 2008. The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, a huge inspiration for Fallon, had this to say about the album, "It had all the markings of a classic. Every song was great. There wasn’t any weak spots on the record...It was epic songwriting disguised in this four-piece rock band."

The band immediately gained attention for the album's rich, poetic lyrics, and Fallon's special voice. Few singers can harness emotion in their voice as much as Fallon, which can be heard on TGA songs like Break Your Heart, We Did It When We Were Young, Too Much Blood, Howl, and Get Hurt. As for Fallon's solo work, it's a little less rock and a little more folk, but his incredible voice glows on tracks like Forget Me Not, Nobody Wins, Painkillers, Etta James, and Smoke.

Fallon is a throwback to the 1950's, with modern sensibilities. There's nobody like him and he stands tall as one of the best musicians alive today.
