10 Most Underrated Singers In Modern Rock
2. Mark Tremonti
A few years ago, you would have found Mark Tremonti's partner-in-crime Myles Kennedy at the top of this list. However, in recent times, Kennedy has certainly rose the ranks and earned the plaudits he has sorely deserved for over a decade.
Now we're shining the light on Mark Tremonti, better known as the guitarist in Alter Bridge, Tremonti, and, long ago, Creed. Most Alter Bridge and Tremonti fans will try to disassociate the man from Creed, because it sorta detracts from his God-like abilities both on the mic and on the axe.
We heard glimpses of Tremonti's voice on Alter Bridge songs like Words Darker Than Their Wings, but he moved to the front of the stage in 2012 when he released his debut solo album, All I Was. Mark quickly proved he was an immensely talented vocalist, as well as being the best guitarist of the modern era.
Since then, he's put out another two Alter Bridge albums, and three more solo albums. The man has an insatiable appetite for music, and we love every bit of it!
