5. Justice Stress
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWaWsgBbFsA The video for Stress by electronic music duo Justice may not be filled with gore, but it's the raw, realistic approach to violence that really makes it memorable. Stress appeared on the 2007 album Cross, and the video was uploaded to YouTube in early 2008. Almost immediately it was met with extreme controversy, with several TV stations banning the video. It features a group of young people decked out in leather jackets engaging in acts of unprovoked street violence. From targeting random members of the public to harassing buskers and smashing their instruments, the whole thing is shot like an over-the-shoulder glimpse at something truly ugly and twisted. Despite all that's going on, the video never falls into the realm of absurd or over-the-top the whole thing is presented with an unflinching realism, including a brutal culmination with the police.
