10 Musical Superstars You Never Knew Wrote Other Artists' Hit Songs
8. Lady Gaga
Singer, actress, performer, and songwriter, Lady Gaga has certainly earned her stardom. Six studio albums, three EPs, nine Grammys, several Guinness World Records, and endless overwhelming red carpet looks, The Fame singer’s style and sound have evolved more in the past 10 years than for most artists in a lifetime.
Since 2008, Gaga, née Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, has had an unconventional and wildly successful career. She’s known for her extreme fashion, evolving public personas, and ability to shift musical genres on a dime—with each theme varying in sound. Having collaborated with other stars among the likes of Beyoncé, Tony Bennett, Kendrick Lamar, and Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga is clearly down to share the spotlight.
Plenty of pop icons have shelled out for the Fame Monster’s music, including the likes of New Kids on the Block, J.Lo, and Michael Bolton. She's the voice/pen behind Britney Spears’ Quicksand. Another of Mother Monster's tunes, one by the name of Telephone (the collaboration Lady Gaga ended up making with Beyoncé), didn’t make the list for Spears’ Circus, but one stars trash is another star’s smash.
