10 Musicians That Will Never Work With Each Other Again

2. Don Felder and Don Henley - Eagles

For all of the mudslinging that was going around in the world of hard rock in the '70s, it felt like the Eagles were supposed to be an antithesis to that. While people like Aerosmith may have been going through their own bouts of trouble around this time, the music of Glenn Frey and Don Henley was just the kind of balm to take you away from all of those troubles. Then again, that's just the facade that these California rockers wanted you to think.

During the making of Hotel California, things started to really get out of hand, with guitarist Don Felder demanding to have a song on the record that he could sing. Though the band initially promised to give him the song, Don Henley had other plans, deciding to re-record the song with him on vocals without notifying Felder first. By the time the group began working on the Long Run, things were reaching a boiling point, culminating in a show in Long Beach where Felder fought with members onstage before leaving like a diva.

Even though the future of the band ended then and there, the reunion seemed to be going well, until Felder demanded that he get paid the same amount as everyone in the band, which Henley and Frey couldn't budge on. While most of these petty disagreements come down to business, it still makes both parties in this situation look just the slightest bit immature.
