It's safe to say that most readers won't be familiar with Irma Bule. However, some may know of her incredibly tragic death, which might be one of the most shocking ways a musician has lost their life on stage.

Irma Bule was an Indonesian singer who found success in her home country. She performed a mixture of pop music combined with the traditional dangdut style. But, it was her desire to put on a good show that ultimately led to her demise.

During a performance in West Java, Bule brought a king cobra snake on stage to use as part of her act, which she had done many times before. However, dealing with live animals is often dangerous, and she found that out the hard way as the venomous creature bit her.

Bule continued to perform for a whole 45 minutes, but something was clearly wrong, and eventually, she ended up collapsing. The bite from the snake ended up killing her, and had she gone to the hospital sooner; there might have been a chance to save her.

It's another cautionary tale about being careful with safety when performing.
