8. Rob Zombie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QtUUoOssU8 When Rob Zombie plays live, it becomes less of a rock concert and more of a horror movie/rock musical. The Massachusetts heavy-metaller is renowned for his live show, which he calls,"elaborate, multi-media production of mind-blowing SFX, animatronic robots, pyrotechnics, oversized LED screens and state-of-the-art light show," which sums it up pretty neatly, actually. Zombie's first live DVD, 'The Zombie Horror Picture Show', even went on to resemble a movie itself (rather than just a soulless live DVD), with as much detail being put into the Zombie live show as any Hollywood thriller or horror movie. In truth, Zombie most likely goes further to create his live show than anyone else in the business, starting with sketches months in advance, before carefully structuring a setlist that will match video animations, robotic movements, and light displays. Overblown it may be, but the whole concept and creation all help craft a Rob Zombie experience that his painstakingly loyal fanbase will eat up year after year. To this day its a shame that he's never been able to take the show onto a bigger platform like Wembley Stadium or Hyde Park.
