10 Perfect Albums From 2019 To Chill To
7. The Japanese House – Good At Falling
When thinking about spaces which inspire relaxation and tranquillity, the zen gardens and temples of Japan can’t be far from the mind. However, the Japanese house has nothing to do with the Land of the Rising Sun, it’s actually the solo project of Amber Bain, a singer/songwriter based in London.
Although she’s been releasing music since 2015, Good at Falling is the first full album she has released, and it’s been well worth the wait. Produced by pop act ‘The 1975,’ you can hear their influence, yet the voice is distinctly different. Good at falling is full of sad synth songs that will have you dancing with a tear in your eye, with Maybe you’re the reason being one of the most relaxing songs of the last year.
