10 Perfect Rap Rock Albums With No Bad Songs
1. Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine (1992)
We come to it at last... , but, by no means is this record least in our reckoning.
This was what every nu metal act hoped they could sound like. No other group had the level of musicianship displayed by Tom Morello, Timmy C. and Brad Wilk. As a three piece, they're one of the tightest and most free flowing trio of musicians, in the game. They combined bass lines that punch a hole in your gut; a percussion section that makes you stomp link a punk; and there isn't any other guitar player who can make you move like Tom Morello.
And that's all before Zack de la Rocha, starts screaming his politicised call to arms. From the moment Rocha, exhibits his first "urrrrh", you can all but hear the bodies thumping into one another in the mosh pits. By the time the albums through, red revolution will be pumping through your veins. You know the big ones, Killing in the Name, Freedom, and Bombtrack, and you don't need convincing of their brilliance.
Sure, the Beastie Boys were great, but they didn't have sh*t on Rage.
