https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mzVGQmuvag Maybe the least known band on this list, Montreal are a pop-punk trio out of Hamburg who have kept the same line-up throughout their eleven years of being a band. They play simple 90s inspired punk/pop-punk tunes akin to Blink-182 and Millencolin, with a touch of the Bloodhound Gang. This is the kind of music punk fans today long for, causing Montreal to give off a sense of nostalgia through their songs. The predictable-but-powerful leads played atop four-chord power chord progressions with harmonious choruses make this band one that should not be ignored. Montreal are masters of melody and harmony, crafting songs that will remain stuck in your head for hours after the album has finished, and then randomly pop back in a few days later out of nowhere, whether it being the vocal melodies or the guitar leads. Songs like the single "Das falsche Pferd" from their most recent album, 2012's "Malen nacho Zahlen" being the best example of this. Recommended if you like: Blink-182, Millencolin, Allister
