10 Popular Music Acts That Leave Me Utterly Cold

6. The Killers

The Killers I€™m probably the only person that I know who doesn€™t love The Killers, but they simply just don€™t appeal to me. Hot Fuss was a strangely cold affair, and reminded me of nothing less than Scissor Sisters, who were infinitely more fun. Sam€™s Town was a fantastic and measured slice of classic Americana, but was followed up by the drab Day & Age, which snuffed out any vestige of interest from myself. Again, I can see the appeal of songs such as €˜Mr Brightside€™, and I will always give Brandon Flowers credit for shoehorning a reference to a Hunter S. Thompson quote into €˜Human€™, but that will probably always remain the extent of my interest.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
