10 Problems You'll Only Understand If You Date A DJ

9. So Many Groupie Girls To Deal With

Let's face it: DJ's are sexy. They look good with their hands, and they appear pretty cool as they tower across the club and control everyone's minds with their music choices and beat dropping. They have a certain chilled out aura, insinuating a mysterious side to their character. It's no wonder girls flock to the DJ booth to watch him from a closer angle. For you, the loyal girlfriend, this is not ok. Nor is having to watch strange girls whisper song requests in your boyfriend's ear. Or wave up at him from their grinding on the dance floor. Or to have them throw pairs of kickers at him while you're standing right next to him (yup, it's happened). While your S.O is still lovely to you, he's also pretty oblivious to how you feel - it's all just part of the job, and he needs fans to make sure his career doesn't just dip due to his popularity. There's only so much you can do to control your inner raging jealously though, mainly through drinking a lot.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
