10 Reasons BROCKHAMPTON Are The Future Of Music

8. Each Member Is Distinct

With a group of so many members, it is hard to have a clear voice from each. Without this, the group would likely become generic and stale over time. Luckily for Brockhampton, every single member has a unique and infectious personality.

Perhaps the most popular member is Merlyn Wood, who is almost always wild and wacky, particularly in their music videos where he can be seen flying through the air, dancing with a puppet or lying in a bath filled with fruit loops. Another of the more popular members is Joba, who can be seen as the wildcard of the group through his excellence in both singing and rapping.

Even some of the less highlighted members of the group are unique, such as Dom McLennon, whose verses are often praised for their poeticism, such as BLEACH, which has been compared to Chloe Mitchell's poem Your Bitter Is My Sweet

With each member having a distinct voice, the potential for growth as a group is incredible, and should they dissolve, the individual members could easily have successful solo careers as well.
