8. He Fought The Westboro Baptist Church In Protest
Dave and his bandmates unfortunately got into a bit of trouble with the loonies from the Westboro Baptist Church back in 2011. They became a target after releasing their 'Hot Buns' video, which resulted in an anti-gay protest prior to their gig in Kansas City. Not one to keep quiet, he and the band decided to fight back and performed outside the venue in front of the protesters, declaring their love for "man muffins" and singing their gay love song 'Keep It Clean (Hot Buns)', before Dave took centre stage and put the idiots in their place. Publicly humiliating Westboro Baptist Church and making the event worldwide news? Job done.
