10 Reasons Why Dave Grohl Is Basically Jesus

3. He Was In Nirvana

Well we couldn't possibly write this list and not mention the band that made it all possible. Back in 1990, Dave was the lucky drummer selected by Kurt Cobain to join the iconic Seattle grunge outfit and he hasn't looked back since. As one third of the timeless classic album 'Nevermind', The Grohl was immediately catapulted into superstardom and played a major role in the rise of grunge in the early 1990s. Of course being a member of the defining grunge act of its time wasn't enough for Grohl, and as you probably know he's went on to front another of the biggest rock bands of all time in the Foo Fighters. Nevertheless, the popularity of Nirvana has shown no signs of waning over the twenty years which is another reason why Dave's musical legacy is already so monumental.
