4. The Jaded Hearts Club - Reach Out I'll Be There (Original: Four Tops)

It's almost as if they were made for appearing on this list. A supergroup of members from Muse, Jet, Blur and The Last Shadow Puppets, anything that gets released under The Jaded Hearts Club moniker has turned into a nice little treat for fans.

Starting as an early 1960s Beatles tribute band for a birthday party a few years ago, they seemed to click instantly, with them wanting to come back to the group again and again. Since then, they shifted their focus from covering Beatles songs to lost Motown and Northern Soul classics, arguably peaking with this effort.

With the heavily nostalgic sing-along nature of Four Tops' original track to work off, the group take that and kick it up a few notches. It all seems to start with Nic Cester punching up the vocals massively, which brings an infectious energy that washes over the rest of the group.

Together, they turn the cinematic tones of the original to sheer theatricality, rendering anyone listening unable to resist the urge to dance and sing along to the tune, just like the original did in the 1960s. Plus, who doesn't want to see Muse's lead singer Matt Bellamy playing bass on a floating unicorn?
