There's Bjork, there's Sigur Rós, and then there's Of Monsters and Men. All of whom are proof that Iceland produces some of the most phenomenal musical talent in the world.
My Head Is An Animal was originally released in Iceland back in late September of 2011, but did not make it into the US until mid 2012. Almost immediately, the album reached number 6 on the US Billboard 200 - breaking the record for an Icelandic musical artist on the US charts, previously held by Björk. The album sold over 55,000 albums in the first week alone, and as of December 2012 has reached approximately 589,000. The band appeared on BBC talk-show
The Graham Norton Show to perform their hit single "Little Talks" on October 26, 2012. After their performance, they were briefly interviewed by host Graham Norton and special guests Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Javier Bardem (who were promoting
