10 Rock Artists Who Got Banned From Certain Countries

9. Lamb Of God - Malaysia

If you couldn't already tell, US metal icons Lamb of God use religious imagery in their music.

Their name is literally another title for Jesus. How is anyone surprised at this point?

Whilst America has certainly done some strange things in the name of the man upstairs, they've never banned Lamb of God from crossing their borders. One country that did do this is Malaysia, which barred the group from entering back in 2013.

Malaysia, which is a largely Muslim country, put a stop to LoG's planned concerts in Kuala Lumpur due to worries that their music would corrupt worshippers of Islam.

Clearly said followers weren't that fussed by the band's appearance, as 1,500 tickets to the show had already been sold according to Lamb of God themselves.

This isn't the only time that the Asian nation has kept big stars out.

Erykah Badu got denied permission to perform after an image appeared of her bare shoulders with the word "Allah" written across them.

In 2009, Beyonce was told she would have to cover her entire body and change some of her lyrics or cancel her show.

Guess which one she did...
