10 Rock Bands That Never Made A Bad Album

1. The Beatles

Out of all the defining bands of the 60's, the Beatles seem to belong in their own separate category. Not only were they responsible for kicking off the British Invasion, but also were able to take rock into places that it had never been before. After they disbanded at the end of the decade, they had opened up the entire landscape for rock music going forward.

Though the band's beginnings were more traditional pop rock, albums like Please Please Me and A Hard Day's Night still stand out as some of the best music of the era. However, it wasn't until their middle period that the band started to get otherworldly in their compositions, as they incorporated countless genres like avant garde, classical, country, jazz, and everything in between. The minute you thought you had a grasp on the band's sound, they would take a left turn on the next record that would amaze you all over again.

Even when the band members weren't getting along, the art made from that frustration gave us masterpieces like The White Album and Let It Be. It's one thing to say that a band had a perfect career, but the Beatles feel like much more than that. With over half a dozen must-listen albums to their name, anyone who considers themselves a fan of music is almost obliged to stumble through the Beatles' catalog at least once in their life.
