10 Rock Bands That Never Made A Bad Album

9. My Chemical Romance

From the moment they started, My Chemical Romance had all the makings of a pure hard rock time bomb. With their insane amount of intensity and theatrics, things would seem to be coming off the rails at every turn but miraculously stay the course. Ever since they disbanded in the early 2010's, all of the band's records could be considered essentials in 2000's rock.

Many fans tend to flock to the band's magnum opus The Black Parade, but the predecessor Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is just as bombastic, with tracks bursting with hooks.

Across every single album, frontman Gerard Way always envisioned taking the group one step further, whether that be through the diversity of material or an overarching concept. Even when the concept wasn't as free flowing as the Black Parade, albums like their final offering Danger Days have held together as some of the greatest albums of the past decade.

Though a lot of people tend to rag on the band's debut record, it's still way better than it has any right to be considering the band was in its infancy. Fans may have been gutted when they announced their separation, but when Way commented on not making a mockery of the band's previous work, you start to appreciate how perfect this band's run really was.
