10 Rock Music Albums Where One Person Plays Everything

9. Mammoth WVH - Mammoth WVH

Speaking of good gene pools, Mammoth WVH is the stage name for Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late, great Eddie.

Considering that his father was one of the greatest guitar players to ever pick up a plectrum, plus the fact that his uncle Alex was also in Van Halen as the drummer, a career outside of music simply wasn't on the cards for young Wolfie.

After playing the bass for his dad's group prior to Eddie's passing, Wolfgang put out his first solo record in 2021. Self-titled, the album performed well, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard charts and ranking amongst the 100 best-selling rock albums of the entire year in America.

To call Wolfgang a prodigy would be an understatement, as at the age of just 30 years old, Van Halen played every single guitar part, the bass, the drums, the piano and keyboard, and provided lead and backing vocals on every single one of this album's 14 songs.

Just reading his list of achievements is exhausting.

Wolfgang Van Halen was bred for success, but even he must have been surprised to have pulled off what he did.
