10 Rock Music Songs That Have Been Played The Most Live

9. The Jack - AC/DC (1,742 Times)

Considering the vast array of famous songs AC/DC have in their catalogue, it's surprising to see one that's not so well known come out on top.

The Jack first appeared on the band's second ever album, T.N.T, in 1975. This was back when the group were only releasing records in their native Australia. That's where it got a lot of its early plays, being busted out around 150 times in its debut year alone. It's since continued to feature in AC/DC's repertoire across the years, including an appearance on their 2012 album Live at River Plate.

It is The Jack's age and inclusion in the band's early sets that gives it the edge over more established songs. It's been played almost 400 times more than Highway to Hell, 500 times more than Back in Black, and 600 times more than You Shook Me All Night Long!

All this, and the song hasn't been performed live since 2015!

Maybe AC/DC decided to retire The Jack from their live sets to give the rest of their output a chance to catch up. Even then, it'll take a while for them to do that.
