10 Rock Musicians Who Should Become Two-Time Hall Of Famers

2. Sting

It's ironic that there was a band called The Police, as they were so successful and talented, that it should have been illegal.

Gordon Sumner, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland ruled the world until the release of their final album, Synchronicity, in 1983. After the break-up, Summers worked on a number of solo and collaborative albums, Copeland went on to create the music for Spyro the Dragon, and Sumner, well, he went on to become one of the biggest pop stars ever.

Sumner (or, to give him his proper name, Sting) has seven UK top 5 albums to his name, a raft of popular singles, and enough units sold to build a tower to the Moon. He has become a legend in his own right, winning awards left, right, and centre, and has also carved out a modest film career.

He was in the Bee Movie, because of course he was.

Though he received a nomination in 2015, the Stinger remais uninducted as a solo act, but surely that has to change soon. His success and popularity is unquestionable, even if his choice of movie cameos is somewhat questionable.
