10 Rockers Who Yelled At Their Fans Onstage
1. Dave Grohl Epic Ejection
As the years have gone on, Dave Grohl has effectively become the Tom Hanks of rock music. While the Foo Fighters may not necessarily be everyone's cup of tea, you have to really stretch to find something to actually hate about Grohl's band of brothers. Even with his nice streak though, there is one person that Dave can't stand: anyone who takes away from his fans having a good time.
On the touring circuit in 2011, the Foos were filming a concert show when Grohl started to see two fans fighting, with one in particular wailing on someone for no good reason. That's the time when you normally call for security, right? No...Dave's got this. Telling everyone in the band and the crowd to get quiet, Dave does the most efficient concert ejection in recent memory, calling out the guy for the striped shirt he's wearing and making sure he has the guy's full attention before telling him to get the hell out and never come back.
As if to cover up any loose ends, Grohl caps the whole thing by saying that people who come to Foo Fighters are supposed to dance and not fight. Even when the fans start to cheer him on, Dave just brushes it off as just making sure that everyone's okay. Just think about that: the man is nice enough to kick out any a*sholes, and yet is too modest to take the praise for it. Future rock stars, you'd better be taking notes. This is how you're supposed to treat your audience.
